I have had to give up trying to get the teenie queenies to get up at a reasonable hour (before 10am) and do anything constructive (although the girls have, in fact, made a start on redecorating the family bathroom with their chosen nautical theme which includes 1 blue and white striped wall) – I will try to get a picture of it up soon. The sun is shining outside and youngest (son) is stuck on Xbox FIFA 15 shouting loudly at his mates into his headset whilst middle daughter is surgically welded to the computer AND her phone. (Although I shouldn’t complain, she did set this page/blog up for me). I think they both live in Social Media land!
Stressing about why they don’t do exercise or go and DO SOMETHING is tooooo stressful so ho hum, I just have to bite my lip and rage inwardly. I think it must be a product of our upbringing that I feel that every last minute of the day should be put to a useful purpose – maybe because we didn’t have a television when we were kids so you had to make your own entertainment/leisure (no jolly electric gadgets or phones then!!) At least eldest daughter has finally got some paid work assisting on a sports/craft camp, just a shame its on the other side of the county and she doesn’t drive!
