Hi, I’m suburbanlawmum.  A full time solicitor and full time mum of three teenagers (15,16 and 19) in the UK.  I am in my 50’s – I had my kids late in life (supposedly so I could have a career but that didn’t work,  I might tell you about that some time!).  Life is pretty stressful but on a Saturday I like to get up at 6.30 am and do some baking hopefully before the ravening hoards descend.  I might share some recipes.  I also love family history research (and background research), dancing around to the radio and making greetings cards.  You will be able to find examples of those cards on here.  I have a creative soul (although I got a U – unclassified! in Art O’level) but I do rely on others (usually my daughter Sophie) to tell me whether I am on the right track.  So this is the start for me, here I go…..
